Subject Matter Expert

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert to support a Federal Government client in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will provide specialized expertise in support of operational efficiencies, mission requirements, complex problem solving, and organizational compliance. This position will also support the development and review of substantive and complex technical documentation requiring detailed knowledge of the applicable technical area.

This position is tied to a future business opportunity and is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise within the assigned technical area.
• Aid in implementing operational efficiencies.
• Provide mission support within the area of expertise.
• Support complex problem solving related to program and mission requirements.
• Support organizational compliance within the assigned area of expertise.
• Produce substantive and complex technical documentation.
• Review substantive and complex technical documentation.
• Apply detailed technical knowledge to areas identified within the Statement of Work.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field or twelve (12) years of experience.
• Must possess a Secret personnel security clearance.
• Must be able to support primarily onsite performance in Washington, DC.
• Must be proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce and review substantive and complex technical documentation.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000–$150,000 annually. This range is preliminary and subject to change based on contract award, approved labor rates, candidate qualifications, and contract requirements.
