Student Success Officer

The Student Success Officer coordinates college-wide efforts to promote student integration, success, persistence, and graduation. Under the supervision of the Director of Student Affairs and the Vice President of Operations and through collaboration with college leadership, student services, and academic departments this position will create and promote retention strategies through the analysis of student data and maintenance of a college-wide student retention plan and early alert system. This position is dedicated to developing strategies that promote the student academic success.

Academic & Student Support

• Create personalized academic support plans
• Provide individual coaching and track student progress
• Organize prep programs for major exams like USMLE

Retention & Completion Initiatives

• Develop strategies to improve student retention
• Identify and remove graduation barriers
• Research and build action plans to support success

Campus Experience & Events

• Help students adjust and get involved in college life
• Plan job fairs, events, and grad school orientations
• Keep students informed about support services

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work with faculty and staff across departments
• Serve on committees and support strategic planning
• Follow university policies and support internal controls

Outreach & Engagement

• Support online students and connect departments
• Build opportunities for career and extracurricular growth
• Advocate for student-centered improvements
