Student Radiology Tech

Student Radiology Tech- the team is looking for a 2nd year Radiology Student who is interested in cross training in CT. Must be available a minimum of 2 days a week for about 4-5 hours after school or weekends.

Role Overview

As a Student Radiology Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting our registered radiologic technologists in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations. This position is perfect for someone enrolled in a Radiology Technology program who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Your contributions will directly impact patient care and help ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic processes.

What You Will Do

• Assist registered radiologic technologists in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment in the radiology department.
• Support the team in ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a two-year college or technical school degree program in Radiology Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
