Hybrid: Mon – Thurs onsite, Fri remote

Job Description:

• Degree highly preferred
• 3-5 years’ minimum experience required in communications, writing, policy, publishing, research, or similar role

Top must-have skills include the following:

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Microsoft Office suite expertise
• General awareness of world news, political science, etc.
• Attention to detail
• Curiosity and drive to always learn more

Skills that would make a candidate stand out:

• Familiarity with InDesign/graphic design
• Fluency with AI writing tools (i.e. Copilot)
• Experience with Campaign Monitor
• Experience with WorkVivo

Additional Skills:

• The main focus of this position is to conduct research and contextual analysis; work on creating and sending out a daily report (Client World Brief), summarizing news articles to send out to company employees, on the happenings in the world; researching athletes, geopolitical events, supply chain disruptions, and marketplace trends
• ETW will sit on the Strategic Intelligence team and work closely with security, sports marketing, communications, and other groups
• If ETW really shows up in the role, there is a potential for an extension
• 1-2 rounds of interviews anticipated
• Need someone to start ASAP

Who We're Looking For:
The Client Intelligence Center (NIC) seeks an ambitious and curious professional to support the research and production of strategic intelligence products. As the Strategic Intelligence Research Lead, you will have the opportunity to leverage your exceptional communications and critical thinking skills, strong understanding of sports and global affairs, and passion for the Client brand to drive insights for Client, Inc. stakeholders.

What You Will Work On:
As a Research Lead, you will bring your broad set of knowledge to research and report on sports and global affairs with a focus on their potential impacts to Client, Inc. You will help produce the daily Client World Brief report on global issues through a Client lens. Ongoing and ad hoc strategic intelligence reports may be deep and forward-looking or concise and in direct response to a specific inquiry from a stakeholder. You will ensure all of this work is done in close collaboration with other members of the NIC and relevant stakeholders in various corners of the company.

The NIC provides intelligence that advances Client’s understanding of the world and is comprised of professionals with a broad spectrum of experiences. The NIC is part of the Resilience organization and the OGC which powers and protects Client. We cut through the noise and the spin to determine what is affecting Client, and highlighting where we need to focus our attention during turbulent times.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, communications, journalism, political science, business administration, or a related discipline.
• An advanced degree in international affairs, business administration, journalism, law, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in research, journalism, academia, and/or business operations is highly desired.
• Demonstrated skill in intelligence production, including clear written communication, graphic design, data visualization, and layout of polished reports and briefing products.
• Experience with a Fortune 500 company is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
• Fluency in reading, speaking and writing in English is required.
