JOB SUMMARY:  Stevens Transport/Paragon Leasing, LP fully services heavy-duty commercial tractors and trailers out of our Dallas, Texas terminal and is hiringTruck Body Technicians to perform avarious major and minor structural repair on diesel trucks, including frames,fiberglass, and sheet metal replacement.Multipleshifts available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Key Responsibilities  

• Collision repair 

• Fabrication and welding 

• Bondo work 

• Installation and alignment of cab components

• Repairing damage to fiberglass, composites, steel, and aluminum 

• Windshield replacements 

• Priming, sealing, and painting

• Replacing fenders, panels, bumpers, and other body parts 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Minimum Qualifications 

• You must have your owntools 

• 2+ years doing Bondowork 

• 2+ years in collision repair  

• Collision repair certification a plus 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Collision repair experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

• Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces toproperly inspect and diagnoseproblems 

• Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements 

• Using hands to handle, control or feel  

• Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms 

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds 

• The work environment includes exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weather variations, metal welding processes and chemicals which may include solvents, undercoating, paint, and caulking. 

Work Experience: 

• 2+ years doing Bondowork 

• 2+ years in collision repair
