Stores Operative

We are looking for a Stores Operative to join Ashtead Technology's Mechanical Solutions division, based at our state of the art facility in Turriff. In this role, you will be involved with all aspects of Stores operations including receiving, recording and storing goods in as well as preparing and loading goods out accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managethereceiptandprocessingofpurchaseorders,workingcloselywithBuyersandMaterialsControllerstoresolvequeriesandensureaccurate,timelyprocessing.
• CoordinatethedispatchofequipmentandsalesordersthroughNetSuite,ensuringalldeliveriesmeetprojectschedulesandleavesitesafely,securelyandwiththecorrectdocumentation.
• Playakeyroleinprojectmobilisationsanddemobilisations,checkingequipmentagainstloadoutlistsanddeliverypaperwork,inspectingfordamage,recordingphotographsandreportinganydiscrepancies.
• Supportthepreparationandmovementofprojectequipment,includingpackingandunpackingcontainers,cabinsandsparesboxes,andloadingandunloadingvehicles.
• Workcollaborativelywiththeworkshopandyardteams,assistingwithequipmentmovementsandday-to-dayoperationalactivitiesasrequired.
• Monitorandreplenishconsumables,prepareproject-specificconsumablesboxesandcontributetoregularstockcountstoensurematerialsareavailablewhenneeded.
• Ensureequipmentisstoredsafelyandcorrectly,maintaininganorganised,cleanandtidygoods-inandgoods-outarea.
• Maintainaccuraterecordsofincomingandoutgoinggoods,ensuringalldeliverypaperwork,photographsandassociateddocumentationarecompletedandfiledappropriately.
• Championastronghealthandsafetyculturebyfollowingcompanypolicies,usingtherequiredPPE,adheringtoindustrystandardsandparticipatinginemergencyproceduresanddrills.

What experience you’ll bring:

• Full UK driving licence.
• B1 Forklift licence, B2 also beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within similar industry and or mechanical setting.
• ERM system experience.
