Role Overview
We are looking for a Storage Support Engineer to support enterprise-scale storage environments for a large financial services client. This is a support-focused role involving incident management, customer/vendor interaction, and storage migrations using established runbooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 storage support (Banking L2 equivalent – external L3 support)
- Own and resolve incident tickets within defined SLAs
- Interact directly with customers, internal teams, and vendors for issue resolution
- Support and facilitate storage migrations (file products) using existing runbooks
- Perform troubleshooting, analysis, and remediation of block storage issues
- Ensure operational stability and adherence to support processes
Must-Have Skills
Strong experience in Block Storage technologies (at least one required):
- Dell PowerFlex
- SolidFire
- VMAX
- 3PAR
- Brocade
- Cisco
- Storage support operations
- Incident management and ticket closure
- Customer-facing and vendor coordination roles
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in enterprise or banking environments
- Exposure to structured migration activities
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support processes
