We are seekingFULL-TIME compassionate and dedicatedState Tested Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team forDAY SHIFT (6a to 6p) andNIGHT SHIFT (6p to 6a). TheSTNAs play a vital role on our care team by providing empathetic, patient-centered, hands-on support that helps residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life.STNAs work closely with nurses and other team members to assist residents with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and create a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional care and support as aState Tested Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Provide support to nursing staff by preparing equipment and assisting with medical procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by adhering to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records 
• Support patients with disabilities by providing tailored assistance to enhance their quality of life
• Participate in hospice care for terminally ill patients, ensuring comfort and dignity during their final days

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, physiology, and hospice care is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program 
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients
