Static Stress Engineer

Job Description:

• Performstress analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures usingclassical methods, ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM.

• Extractloads, stresses, material data, geometry details, and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings.

• Apply appropriatestatic design values from standard references.

• Create and refineFinite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data.

• Conductsizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static requirements.

• Extractfastener loads and perform detailedjoint analysis.

• CalculateReserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes, including:

  • Strength

  • Buckling (Column & Panel)

  • Shear panel failure

• Identify and implementlow RF mitigations using classical or numerical methods.

• Preparestress certification dossiers, includingACD4 and SSR reports.

• Collaborate withdesign, loads, and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Experience: 5-7
