About Funnel
Funnel helps companies get more value from their marketing data. The platform enables teams to collect, organize and use that data to make better decisions and drive growth. As marketing teams increasingly include both people and AI agents, Funnel provides a shared data foundation that both can rely on and act on.
We are hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead our AI domain, which covers agentic functionality in our native no-code app and Funnel’s MCP. This is a highly strategic role at Funnel. Our agentic features have already found strong early product-market fit, with several hundred customers using them every week. That usage gives the team direct feedback, clear evidence of customer value and a strong base to build from.
At the same time, we believe this area is still early. AI will continue to change how teams work and create possibilities that were hard to imagine only a few years ago. This role is an opportunity to shape how Funnel competes and grows in an AI-first market, and how marketing teams around the world use data to make better business decisions.
The Role
As Staff Product Manager-AI, you will lead the product strategy, roadmap and execution for Funnel’s agentic product experiences. You will work closely with engineering, product design, context design, commercial teams and company leadership to define where Funnel should invest, how we should build and how we bring new agentic capabilities to market.
This is a staff level role since AI is core to our overall product strategy. With strong support from the CEO, board and executive team, you will have the mandate to influence significant changes across the product experience, the platform and how Funnel creates value for customers. We are looking for someone who can operate beyond a single roadmap: someone who shapes company-level strategy, identifies important risks and opportunities before they are obvious, creates clarity in a fast-moving domain and helps the organization make better decisions about where to invest.
What You’ll Do
Vision and strategy:Lead the vision and strategy for Funnel’s AI domain, including agentic experiences in the native app and Funnel’s MCP. Shape how Funnel uses AI to change the way marketing teams work with data, from reporting and analysis to setup, governance and decision support.
Roadmap:Own the AI roadmap and make clear, evidence-based trade-offs across customer value, business impact, technical feasibility and speed of learning. Know when to move quickly, when to invest in foundational capabilities and when to cut scope.
Product quality and trust:Own the quality bar for agentic experiences. Work with engineering and design to understand how agents behave in practice, where they fail and what is required for users to trust them. Use evals, usage data and customer feedback to improve reliability and overall product quality.
Product discovery:Build a deep understanding of customer workflows outside Funnel, including how teams use marketing data to make decisions. Run discovery through user interviews, product usage, competitive research, market signals, eval analysis and hands-on experimentation with emerging AI tools.
Build with cross-functional teams:Work closely with engineering and design to turn strategy into high-quality product experiences that ship, learn and improve quickly. Partner with go-to-market teams to ensure AI capabilities are successfully positioned, launched and adopted.
Thought leadership:Represent Funnel’s product perspective on AI internally and, where relevant, externally with customers, partners and the broader market. Translate complex technical developments into clear product direction and customer value.
What We’re Looking For
Depth in data and agentic products:Deep experience building and scaling data products, ideally in B2B SaaS. Hands-on experience with agentic products. Strong technical fluency and the ability to work closely with engineering on product decisions. Working fluency in machine learning is a strong plus.
Business impact:Proven ability to drive business impact, not only ship features. You understand how product decisions affect adoption, retention, revenue and market position.
Strategic product leadership:Strong strategic ability, including experience shaping product direction, influencing investment decisions and aligning senior stakeholders. You can define a compelling direction while staying grounded in customer evidence, business priorities and technical reality.
System-level thinking:Strong ability to reason across the full product and business system, not only the immediate feature area.
Execution discipline:Strong execution discipline, with a bias toward learning quickly, making trade-offs explicit and helping teams maintain momentum. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity while keeping teams focused on the most important work.
Cross-functional leadership:Strong cross-functional leadership, including the ability to work effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer-facing teams. You create alignment across functions without relying only on formal authority.
Communication:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear product direction and customer value.
Learning mindset:High curiosity and learning speed. The AI landscape changes quickly, and this role requires someone who actively follows the field, experiments with new tools and turns learning into better product decisions. Experience operating at the frontier of a fast-moving technical field, where best practices are still being defined, is highly relevant.
Experience level:Typically 10-plus years of product management experience, with meaningful experience operating at staff level.
Additional experience that would be valuable in this role includes:
Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
Experience with marketing data, marketing measurement, analytics, or reporting.
