- Integrate: Integrate, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software supporting mission-system development and test environments.
- Execute: Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux-based computing platforms.
- Evaluate: Troubleshoot complex problems spanning hardware, operating systems, embedded software, networks, and external equipment.
- Configure: Configure and troubleshoot Ethernet networks, switches, routers, fiber-optic connections, and associated network infrastructure.
- Cross Domain: Support configuration and integration of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) within applicable system and security architectures.
- Embedded Systems: Integrate embedded software and computing hardware into larger mission-system environments.
- Review and troubleshoot C/C++, Python, Bash, and system configuration as necessary to identify integration issues.
- Work with Git-based software environments and containerized applications as part of system integration and troubleshooting activities.
- Install, cable, configure, and maintain computing, networking, RF, and laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshoot serial and Ethernet interfaces between system components.
- Support integration and troubleshooting of RF equipment, including associated computing, networking, power, and control interfaces.
- Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other laboratory test equipment to troubleshoot system and hardware issues.
- Diagnose hardware failures and coordinate repair, replacement, return, and reinstallation of equipment with vendors and internal organizations.
- Support configuration management and documentation of integrated laboratory and mission-system environments.
- Develop repeatable approaches for system configuration, installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with engineers from software, hardware, networking, cybersecurity, RF, and other technical disciplines to resolve system-level integration problems.
- Support laboratory and occasional field integration and test activities as required.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to less-experienced engineers and technicians in system integration and troubleshooting practices.
