What to Expect

You'll build scalable software for our Manufacturing Execution systems, an internally developed platform that is a one stop solution any manufacturing in Tesla at all facilities.This platform supports innovative products like Robotaxi, Tesla Semi, Optimus bot, superchargers, and power walls and power packs.

We are looking for someone with strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and experience with technical feedback are essential.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality, maintainable code that addresses real-world manufacturing challenges
• Lead end-to-end projects, from gathering requirements and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Mentor engineers and uphold global standards of excellence in software craftsmanship
• Prioritize robust, production-critical systems with strong validation, monitoring, and support mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Material systems

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience (6+ years preferred)
• Proven experience implementing large-scale projects in front end technologies like React, Angular, HTML, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, or similar
• Create reusable UI components to accelerate frontend development
• Basic understanding of back-end technologies like Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar for full-stack development and SQL databases
• Proficiency in rigorous software development practices, including version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools used in software dvelopment, ie Grok, Claude
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production
