Staff Associate (Part-Time)

Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary is looking for a Staff Associate to join our team in San Diego, CA where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. Our Staff Associates are responsible forassisting funeral directors with events,helping to maintain the facility appearance,andproviding information in a compassionate and professional manner to our client families. Your work is the foundation of our ability to supply a source of support, guidance, and direction to client families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. We provide our staff with strong local, regional, and home-office support so that they focus on what matters: serving our client families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with funeral directors with events held on-site, including services and arrangement conferences
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with families
• Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased
• Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service preferred
• Experience handling difficult situation

Compensation range of $19-20/hr.
