Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes is looking for aStaff Associate to join our team in Sacramento, CA where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. Our Staff Associates are responsible for assisting funeral directors with events, helping to maintain the facility appearance, and providing information in a compassionate and professional manner to our client families. Your work is the foundation of our ability to supply a source of support, guidance, and direction to client families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. We provide our staff with strong local, regional, and home-office support so that they focus on what matters: serving our client families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the funeral or memorial area for the family before the ceremony starts
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after ceremony
• Clean slumber and chapel areas following ceremony conclusion
• Sit evening and weekend visitations
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person
• Decedent transfers from place of death
• Decedent intakes
• ECHO champion
• P.A.C.T. driver

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service preferred
• Experience handling difficult situation
• Self-motivated

Compensation$20/ hr.
