Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or Associate’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience Experience: 1+ year of accounting experience Skills: General ledger and account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and Microsoft Excel

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting operations, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a temporary opportunity with potential for direct hire, ideal for an accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant will include:

• Perform general ledger and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Assist with preparing financial reports, accounting activity summaries, and statutory and operational data analyses.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Statutory Reporting, and Treasury teams on routine activities and special projects.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Support internal and external audits and help ensure compliance with accounting and reporting requirements.

Qualifications for the role of Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an Associate’s degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of experience.

• At least 1 year of accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
