Description:
- Lead the design and development of complex ETL workflows using SSIS.
- Architect scalable, high-performance ETL solutions for large-volume data processing.
- Define ETL standards, best practices, reusable frameworks, and development guidelines.
- Review and optimize SSIS packages for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Build data integration workflows for SQL Server, Oracle, flat files, APIs, cloud platforms, and other enterprise sources.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical ETL architecture and detailed design documents.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting support, and mentoring to SSIS developers.
- Implement enterprise-level error handling, logging, auditing, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
- Manage SSIS package deployment and environment configuration using SSIS Catalog (SSISDB).
- Monitor and schedule batch workloads using Control-M, AutoSys, or SQL Server Agent.
- Collaborate with database, infrastructure, DevOps, QA, and business teams for CI/CD, releases, and production support.
- Own post-production monitoring, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions, capacity planning, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
