Work Mode:7 days per person rotation.
24 hours - Sunday and Saturday
6 pm to 9 am uk time - Monday to Friday
9am to 6 pm uk time – on-call is responsible but team will also be available to support if on-call person is occupied
We are looking for an experiencedSRE Lead with8+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of leadership/technical leadership experience to drive reliability, scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence for critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- LeadSRE practices, reliability strategy, incident management, RCA and postmortems.
- Define and manageSLIs, SLOs, SLAs and Error Budgets.
- LeadSev1/Sev2 production incidents and drive MTTR reduction.
- Manage and troubleshootAzure cloud and Kubernetes/AKS environments.
- DriveCI/CD, GitOps and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
- Build and manage monitoring/observability usingNew Relic, Splunk and Azure Monitor.
- Automate operational processes usingTerraform, Python, PowerShell or Bash.
- Lead and mentor SRE/DevOps teams and collaborate with engineering, security and vendors.
- 8+ years in SRE / DevOps / Cloud / IT Operations
- 3+ years leadership / technical leadership
