Senior Transportation Engineer – Roadway Design in North Charleston, SC

We’re looking for aSenior Transportation Engineer to lead roadway design and plan development for a variety of transportation infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to step into a senior-level role where you’ll have a direct impact on project quality, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead roadway design efforts for transportation infrastructure projects
Oversee project design, plan production, and quantity calculations
Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff
Coordinate across disciplines to keep projects on schedule and maintain quality
Support project management activities and contribute to business development efforts

What We’re Looking For:

8+ years of roadway design experience, including strong corridor modeling experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with SCDOT plan production and quantity calculations
Proficiency with MicroStation / GEOPAK, including corridor modeling
Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) preferred
Experience with MOT, Drainage, PMP, and Signing is a plus
