JOB DESCRIPTION:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for positions across the Bank, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, offer development, negotiation, and acceptance.
Lead new hire onboarding for new hire's first day. - Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, develop effective recruiting strategies, establish realistic timelines, and drive timely hiring decisions.
- Independently manage multiple requisitions and priorities while providing proactive, clear, and timely communication to candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners.
- Work collaboratively with the recruiting and broader HR team, maintaining close communication and keeping team members informed of search status, key decisions, risks, candidate developments, and matters requiring coordination or escalation.
- Partner closely with Compensation, HR Business Partners, and other HR colleagues to align on job requirements, compensation considerations, approvals, candidate matters, and the overall hiring approach.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal recruiting processes, documentation requirements, approval workflows, compliance obligations, and recordkeeping standards.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely information in Workday and other recruiting tools, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Develop diverse sourcing strategies and talent pipelines using direct outreach, referrals, professional networks, campus partnerships, and other appropriate channels; at times, partner with staffing vendors to support searches and assist with filling open positions.
- Coordinate with staffing vendors when appropriate, including communicating role requirements, sharing search expectations, reviewing candidate submissions, providing timely feedback, and supporting vendor-assisted searches to help fill open positions.
- Lead offer strategy and candidate negotiations, balancing candidate expectations, internal equity considerations, approved parameters, and business needs.
- Deliver a professional, consistent, and responsive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Navigate candidate work authorization and employment-based immigration considerations; identify potential concerns, gather appropriate information, and escalate complex or high-risk matters to the appropriate HR or legal partner.
- Support the Bank's summer internship program, including recruiting, selection, onboarding coordination, program logistics, and intern engagement activities.
Support campus recruiting efforts, career fairs, university relationships, and early-career talent initiatives. - Assist with talent acquisition projects, process improvements, reporting, vendor coordination, and other related HR needs as assigned.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting a broad range of professional, corporate, and specialized roles. - Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple requisitions, hiring managers, and competing priorities in a complex organization.
- Experience working in the financial services industry is required.
- Experience developing offers and leading candidate negotiations is required.
- Experience working within structured recruiting processes, approval requirements, and compliance standards is required.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system; Workday experience required.
- Experience supporting campus recruiting, internship programs, or other early-career talent initiatives preferred.
- Experience identifying and navigating employment-based immigration or work authorization considerations preferred.
- Professional recruiting or HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, AIRS, CIR, or a comparable credential, preferred but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and documentation quality.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and consultative skills; able to navigate competing interests and move hiring decisions forward appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead work independently, exercise sound judgment, take ownership, and deliver results with limited oversight.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates, vendors, HR colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong team orientation and commitment to transparent, timely communication; recognizes that internal recruiting team coordination is as important as communication with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to balance independent ownership with active collaboration, shared accountability, and consistent information flow across the recruiting and broader HR teams.
- Working knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, candidate assessment, sourcing strategies, and hiring compliance.
- Ability to recognize risk, ambiguity, or matters outside the role's authority and escalate promptly to the appropriate partner.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and complex situations with confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
- Commitment to consistently following established internal processes while identifying practical opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to attend on-site meetings, new hire onboarding, recruiting events, career fairs, campus activities, and internship program events as business needs require.
- Flexibility to provide recruiting and talent program support across different business areas and role types throughout the Bank.
- This is a contingent worker assignment.
