Job Description:
Required Skills (8-10 years of exp.)
- Expert knowledge of Python development and automation.
- Advanced knowledge of AWX Platform (Ansible Tower), including workflow automation, inventories, templates, credentials, and RBAC.
- Expert knowledge of Ansible playbook development and automation best practices.
- Advanced to Expert knowledge of Dell PowerMax and PowerFlex storage platforms, including REST API integration, provisioning, monitoring, and automation workflows.
- Expert knowledge of VMware vSphere/vCenter administration and automation, including PowerCLI and API integration.
- Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-evolving technical and operational landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand, troubleshoot, and modify complex pre-existing codebases with minimal ramp-up time.
- Enhance and maintain existing Python applications, automation frameworks, and Ansible playbooks.
- Design and develop new automation capabilities for storage infrastructure platforms that involve multiple vendors.
- Develop storage provisioning workflows using:
- Ansible and Python coding languages
- VMware PowerCLI and vCenter APIs
- Previous, hands-on experience automating provisioning of PowerMax and PowerFlex storage arrays
- AWX Platform
- Develop and maintain PowerFlex automation solutions.
- Create high-level and detailed design documentation and workflow diagrams.
- Perform testing, validation, and production deployment of automation releases.
- Provide technical guidance on the capabilities and limitations of Python, Ansible, VMware, and storage platform CLIs/APIs.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows and integrations.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and technical design reviews.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this role is $55 to $62. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
