Sr. SAP Basis Administrator

General Summary

The Sr. SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and availability of SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and related cloud environments. This role provides technical leadership for system administration, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and operational support, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, compliance, and business continuity across the SAP landscape. Based in Costa Rica, the position plays a key role in maintaining reliable and scalable enterprise SAP operations.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of SAP Basis experience

Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA production environments. SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Technology Platform certification is preferred.

Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industry.

 Strong troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Advanced proficiency in English

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
