Responsible for validating applicationfrontend and backend systems, as well as testing complexETL data pipelines built onGCP. Needto ensure high system performance, data integrity, and seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Data & ETL Pipeline Testing (GCP)
  • Design and execute test plans for data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
  • ValidateETL workflows in theGCP ecosystem (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer).
  • Perform source-to-target data reconciliation, verifying transformation logic and data integrity using complexSQL queries.
  • Validate automated data quality checks to monitor schema changes, duplicate rows, and null values in the data pipeline.
Application (Frontend & Backend) Testing
  • Perform end-to-end testing of aweb applicationfrontends across various browsers and devices.
  • Testbackend APIs (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and serverless functions to ensure accurate data processing and secure communication.
General QA Excellence
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Software Developers to define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tracking software.
  • Executeregression, functional, and performance testing to certify stable product releases.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software QA, with a strong mix of data pipeline and application testing.
  • Data Skills: Deep proficiency inSQL; hands-on experience with theGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) data stack (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.).
  • Mindset: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to fast-pacedAgile environments.
  • Rate: $78/hr.
