Sr. Performance Test Engineer – Healthcare: 9+ years QA experience with 7+ years in Performance testing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and executeperformance testing strategies (load, stress, endurance, spike testing) for healthcare applications.
• Analyze system performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improveapplication scalability, stability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingQA, DevOps, Developers, and Product Owners to identify performance bottlenecks early in the SDLC.
• Develop and maintainperformance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, 
• Conductroot cause analysis of performance issues and recommend solutions across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Monitor and analyze system behavior using tools likeDynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or New Relic.
• Lead performance tuning efforts involvingapplication servers, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for healthcare applications.
• Mentor junior performance engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering.
• Driveshift-left performance testing and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• 7+ years of experience inperformance testing and engineering.
• Strong experience inhealthcare systems (EHR/EMR, claims processing, payer/provider systems).
• Expertise in performance testing tools such as: 
  • LoadRunner
  • JMeter
  •  NeoLoad
• Strong knowledge ofprotocols: HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP,Trueclient 
• Experience withmonitoring and profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, PerfMon, ).
• Solid understanding ofdatabase performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience withcloud platforms ( Azure).
• Experience working inAgile/Scrum environments

• Qualifications: Bachelor and above
