Client requires aknowledgeable NetworkAdministrator [Contractor -Offshore] for
AMR and EUR time zones[rotational – weekly orbiweekly] to troubleshoottechnical
problems, provide technicaladvice, product upgrade, andinstallation support.
TheNetwork Administrator,under the direction of theNetwork Manager, is primarily
responsible for supportingour organizations bydesigning, implementing, andmaintaining
network infrastructure.Network Administratorstroubleshoot connectivityissues, optimize
network performance, andmanage upgrades andconfigurations to maintainstability, security,
and scalability. Thisposition is essential inensuring that IT networks arereliable, efficient,
and aligned withorganizational goals. Priorexperience in administering,evaluating, and
modifying network systems toassure proper security,operation, and optimizationis a benefit.
Other responsibilitiesinclude:
•Design, configure, andmaintain Cisco network andsecurity appliances and
hardware, including Catalystswitches, ISR routers,FirePower, FMC, WLC, Client,
DNA, SD-WAN management, andtroubleshooting.
•Deep knowledge on WAN/LANnetworking, includingwireless, fiber-optic and
copper cable.
•Monitor and troubleshootnetwork performance to ensureminimal downtime and
resilience to potentialcybersecurity threats.
•Validate configurationbackup systems are up andrunning.
•Manage IT-Network supporttickets and monitor ticketqueues.
•Implement security protocolssuch as firewalls, accesscontrols, and encryption.
•Document networkconfigurations and updatesystem documentationregularly
including visio diagrams.
•Collaborate with IT teams tooptimize network architecturefor scalability.
•Perform hardware andsoftware system upgrades,patches, and maintenance.
•Prepare detailed diagrams,use cases, instructional, andtest documentation and
guides.
•Coordinate with reportingmanager, user functionalcommunities, and team
members on task prioritiesand initiatives.
•Conduct meetings, usertraining sessions, andtesting with internal andexternal
clients.
•Stay current with the latestnetwork and security trends,technologies, and industry
best practices.

Requirements:
•Hand-on experience on Ciscorouters, switches, wireless,network operating systems
including network applianceslike FTD, Client, DNAC, and SD-WAN.
•Complete understanding onTCP/IP, OSI model and networkprotocols like SNMP,
NetFlow, Syslog, DHCP, DNS,FTP, etc.
•Must understand when toescalate urgent issues to theteam.
•Require a solidunderstanding of networkingand troubleshooting.
•Must be able to workoccasionally after hours orweekends as required.
•Work as part of a team aswell as independently.
•Available to be on-call forsupport.
•Ability to work in a fastpace and dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
•Proven ability to performresponsibilities in English.
•Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
•Minimum 7 years of NetworkAdministration experience.
•Ability to resolve and/orescalate issues in a timelyfashion.
•Strong experience inperforming a variety ofactivities related to theanalysis,
installation, andtroubleshooting of networkingand applications.
