Required:

• At least two years of auto-finance experience relevant to the role, such as titling, remarketing, bankruptcy, collections, or payment support.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science is preferred.
• Experience in financial services or captive auto finance companies is a strong plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Application development experience in large-scale enterprise environments is essential.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge in Agile development lifecycle, Java, JavaScript, and Unix script coding expertise.
• Proficiency in testing methods, including unit and integration testing (Manual, JUnit, Playwright, JMock).
• Experience with code deployment and code versioning tools.
• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting applications within Azure cloud environment.
• Experience in developing batch scripts and configuring them in R11 and Azure.
• Experience in using AI productivity tools for development.
• Experience in UNIX Scripting, Github, JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, Angular, ORM.
• Experience with Tomcat/WebSphere, SOAP, REST.
• Experience with JDBC, DB2, SQL, Postgres.
• Experience with FTP/SFTP.

Responsibilities:

• Modify existing application code or interfaces or build new application components from detailed requirements.
• Analyze requirements, support design, develop code, test, debug, deploy, and maintain programs and interfaces. Documentation of work is essential.
• Participate in most aspects of programming and application development, including file design, update, storage, and retrieval.
• Maintain the developed solution on an ongoing basis.
• Formulate concepts, define system scope, and technical objectives based on user needs.
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems and add new functions considering schedule, resource constraints, process complexity, dependencies, assumptions, and application structure.
• Follow the existing development methodology and coding standards, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Guide various groups on application systems activities.
• Work under general directions; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.
