Location: White Plains, NY Hybrid

Pay Range: $45.00 - $47.00/Hour on W2/ C2C (Without Benefits).

We are seeking an experiencedLead Java Microservices Architect/Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, MySQL, AWS troubleshooting, and production support. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, architecture review experience, and the ability to lead offshore teams while driving design and delivery initiatives.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Microservices Architecture
- REST APIs
- MySQL
- Strong experience with AWS log analysis, including CloudWatch, application logs, and monitoring dashboards.
- Expertise in application architecture, design reviews, and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with modern Java features such as Lambda Expressions, Streams, and Collections.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.
- Architect and develop Microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Perform architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across project teams.
- Analyze and troubleshoot AWS logs and production incidents.
- Identify permanent fixes and drive problem resolution initiatives.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor offshore development teams and oversee technical delivery.
- Support application deployment activities in CI/CD environments.
- Participate in Agile development processes and sprint activities.
Required Experience
- Proven experience leading offshore development teams.
- Strong architectural design and development background.
- Experience building enterprise-scale applications from concept through deployment.
- Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Education Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in computer science, programming, informatics, or business
