Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Lead to oversee the development and delivery of complex electrical design packages for advanced facilities, including semiconductor, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical projects. This position requires strong technical expertise in electrical design, advanced proficiency with Revit, and demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design efforts.
- Lead the development and delivery of electrical design packages for complex industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Develop electrical power distribution, lighting, and grounding designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Plan and coordinate electrical design activities to meet project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and resolve conflicts across electrical, mechanical, process, controls, structural, and architectural disciplines.
- Review design deliverables for technical accuracy, quality, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, construction teams, and clients throughout project execution.
- Develop staffing plans, coordinate resources, and support workload forecasting.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior designers.
- Promote design quality, continuous improvement, and digital delivery best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve design standards, workflows, and project execution efficiency.
- Support proposal development, estimating, and project planning activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical design experience utilizing 3D modeling and drafting platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Revit.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex electrical design scopes and deliverables.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver multidisciplinary design packages with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior designers.
- Ability to work onsite in Chandler, AZ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Design Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable electrical design requirements.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, mission-critical, or data center projects.
- Experience developing BIM execution strategies and model coordination workflows.
- Demonstrated success leading electrical design teams and improving project delivery processes.
