Sr. Data Engineer – Contract
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Work Mode: 3–4 Days Onsite/Week
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension)
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience withmodern cloud data platforms, SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience withSQL-based data transformation frameworks ( DBT )
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or equivalent
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services
- Experience with AI/agentic frameworks ( Cortex) is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
