Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Lake Zurich, IL, 60047

Duration: 3+ Contract (Initial 90 days; potential to extend and convert to FTE)
Shift: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Flexible start between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)


Job Description:
  • The Sr. Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer master data across SAP and related platforms for both medical device and pharmaceutical business units.
  • This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support data governance, process improvement, and system integrations while driving operational efficiency and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day master data activities in coordination with the Team Lead.
  • Support data governance standards, data quality, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Oversee customer master data creation, maintenance, and data cleansing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and quality metrics.
  • Serve as SME for master data during system integrations and enhancements.
  • Provide backup support for pricing, licensing updates, rebate accruals, and compliance activities.
  • Assist with audits by providing accurate documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Support management with ad hoc reports and special projects.
  • Act as backup for group mailbox and SME portal support.
Required Skills (Top 3):
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance frameworks (3–5 years).
  • Experience with data quality tools, reporting, and data cleansing techniques (3–5 years).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, large datasets).
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • SAP experience.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience required.
  • Management experience preferred.
