Position SummaryAs a member of our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll manage the full recruiting life cycle, designing and carrying out sourcing strategies that build strong teams across the organization. You’ll act as the link between the business and Talent Acquisition, finding exceptional talent through the relationships you build and the creative sourcing methods your experience brings. As a representative of Human Resources, you’ll make sure every candidate has a best-in-class experience with us. *This is a contract position for 3 months. You, as part of the Karius team, will be able to see how directly your work has a life-changing impact on people, and at scale. Reports to: Senior Director, Talent Acquisition Location: Redwood City, CA (Hybrid) or Remote (United States)*If remote, outside of California, you will need to support West Coast work hours. Responsibilities• Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and build recruiting plans. Advise them on process, best practices and strategy for finding top talent.
• Source top-tier candidates, and build and maintain relationships with them through every stage, from first contact to accepted offer.
• Build a large, high-quality candidate pipeline under tight timelines.
• Become an expert on Karius’s technology, culture, future products and their applications.
• Use Lever, our applicant tracking system, to track and manage each candidate’s progress through the hiring process. Travel: No travel required. Physical RequirementsSubject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, and vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Requirements• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally on an in-house talent acquisition team. Startup experience is a plus. Experience recruiting in a regulated industry such as biotech or medical devices.• A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
