Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilledWorkday Security Administrator to serve as the primary subject matter expert for security governance, access provisioning, and system integrity across our Workday platform. In this role, you will design, configure, and maintain a secure and scalable environment across HCM and FIN Module). The ideal candidate blends hands-on technical configuration with a disciplined approach to compliance, segregation of duties (SoD), and audit readiness

Key Responsibilities

• Security Configuration & Administration: Design, build, and maintain diverse security group models, including Role-Based, User-Based, Job-Based, Intersection, and Segment-Based security permissions.
• Policy Management: Configure and optimize Domain Security Policies and Business Process Security Policies across various functional areas.
• Access & Provisioning: Manage the day-to-day lifecycle of user access, including provisioning, modifications, deprovisioning, and managing Integration System Users (ISUs).
• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Lead regular system audits using Security Exception Audits and Change Log reports. Partner with internal and external audit teams to ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Release Management: Evaluate, test, and implement security updates during biannual Workday platform releases to guarantee minimal disruption to access or business workflows. 
• Data Privacy: Enforce data masking policies and strict data-segregation bounds to safeguard highly confidential executive, employee, and financial records.
• Operational Support: Troubleshoot complex security configuration issues, manage the security ticketing queue, and execute mass security profile overrides via Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs)

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience designing, building, and maintaining multi-tenant security layers specifically on the Workday platform.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of Workday's configurable security frameworks, constrained vs. unconstrained groups, and conditional logic rules.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis on complex security and business process defects.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, Finance, and IT
•  

Preferred Qualifications

• ActiveWorkday Pro Security Certification.
• Hands-on security experience withWorkday Financials domains (e.g., P2P, R2R, Banking).
  
• Experience integrating Workday with corporate Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
