Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Java Developer with 10+ years of hands-on backend or full-stack Java development experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, AWS cloud services, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with experience building and supporting scalable, distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack applications using Java.

  • Build and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

  • Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.

  • Work with Kafka and distributed systems to support reliable, high-performance applications.

  • Develop and optimize Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Perform database performance tuning and schema design.

  • Apply software engineering principles, design patterns, and development best practices.

  • Use Git for version control and support CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on backend or full-stack Java development experience.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Java.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

  • Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka.

  • Proficiency in Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

  • Experience with database performance tuning and schema design.

  • Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.

  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
