About The Job:

  • We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions that support enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, and data integration requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL programming, database design, performance optimization, ETL development, and database administration.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects.
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and database optimization techniques.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and integration.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, availability, and security across database environments.
  • Monitor database health, identify bottlenecks, and resolve performance-related issues.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data extracts using database-driven data sources.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform database backup, recovery, maintenance, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Document database structures, development standards, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Support production environments by troubleshooting database issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in database design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 – 8 Years

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Database.
  • Expertise in SQL Query Writing and Performance Tuning.
  • Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.
  • Strong understanding of Database Normalization and Data Modeling.
  • Knowledge of Indexing, Partitioning, and Database Optimization techniques.
  • Experience with ETL tools and Data Migration processes.
  • Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL, AWS RDS, and cloud-based database platforms.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architectures.
  • Experience with Python or scripting languages for database automation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in SQL Database Development.
