Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilledSpring Boot Developer to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies. The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support Microservices-based architectures.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Terraform, OpenShift, or cloud-native development.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
