Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Splunk Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Splunk Enterprise On-Premises environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Splunk administration, Linux system administration, CLI-based troubleshooting, and cluster management. Candidates with only Splunk Cloud experience will not be considered.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Strong experience in Splunk Enterprise On-Premises Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Indexer Clusters, Search Head Clusters, Deployment Servers, Universal & Heavy Forwarders.
- Strong knowledge of Splunk CLI commands, configuration file management ( server.conf, props.conf, transforms.conf, inputs.conf, outputs.conf), bundle push, and status/health checks.
- Good understanding of Splunk installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Strong Linux fundamentals, including managing systemd/service files, Linux CLI, shell commands, and configuration files.
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues and supporting enterprise Splunk environments.
