About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:
Splunk Administration & Engineering:
- Manage and administer Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud components
- Configure and optimize forwarders
- Manage and administer Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud components
- Configure and optimize forwarders, CIM normalization, dashboards, alerts, and data models
- Create SOX and Non-SOX alerts for various applications, OS in a timely manner as per SLA.
- Monitor ingestion pipelines, indexing performance, and license utilization.
- Manage agent installation and Heavy forwarder, Universal forwarder infrastructure on Windows and Linux environment.
- Administer Microsoft Sentinel workspaces, analytics rules, automation rules, and KQL queries
- Integrate Defender Suite, Azure logs, and third party connectors.
- Ensure governance, RBAC, and cost optimization.
- Participate in migration strategy, POC, content mapping, KQL conversion, and parallel Validation
- Migrate dashboards, correlation rules, and automation playbooks
- Conduct UAT, validation, and final cutover as and when required
- Take handover from Architecture & Engineering team and lead the operations of Microsoft Sentinel SIEM
- Create SOP & Playbook for Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and Migration playbook.
- Support SOC teams with detections, tuning, and hunting.
- Build detections aligned to MITRE Telecommunication&CK.
- Create dashboards for Cyber Defense
- SOC team as and when required.
- Build automation via Cyware SOAR, Python, PowerShell, Logic Apps.
- Integrate APIs and workflow orchestration.
- Ensure SIEM alignment to SOX Compliance requirements
- Aligned to standards like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC2
- Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and audit evidence and support SOX compliance requirements throughout the year, including independent discussion with auditors, ensure audit readiness and zero non-conformities.
