Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React frontend components including metric dashboards pivot and rollup views data tables filtering interfaces and export functionality
• Develop Python backend services and REST APIs that form the application layer between the frontend and underlying data services
• Integrate the application layer with upstream data services and APIs ensuring accurate and performant data delivery to the frontend
• Partner with Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers to translate frontend requirements into data contracts influence upstream table design and ensure the data layer meets application needs
• Participate in code reviews unit and integration testing documentation and production deployments

Technical Environment

• Frontend React based single page application with a shared component model across CLS products
• Backend Python based services with REST API layer
• Data layer Structured query results and precomputed datasets served via APIs from the data engineering layer
• AI integration LLM powered conversational interface for natural language metric exploration
• Infrastructure AWS native Lambda S3 DynamoDB cloud hosted data pipelines
• Collaboration Cross functional team of SDEs Data Engineers DEs and Business Intelligence Engineers BIEs

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience with React and modern frontend development component architecture state management API integration
• Proficiency in Python for backend service development
• Experience with full SDLC including code reviews source control CICD and testing
