Job Description: Flecha Cantina is seeking a driven, revenue-minded Special Events Manager who is as comfortable running a floor shift as they are closing an event contract. This role is built for someone with the operational instincts of a Department Manager and the hustle of a sales professional. You will complete a full Department Manager training program, giving you the tools to lead and support location operations — then own the full events, catering, and third-party delivery sales channels across all Flecha Cantina locations. Key Responsibilities:
Department Manager Training & Location Operations• Complete Flecha Cantina’s full Department Manager training program to develop deep operational fluency across all locations• Work four days per week in a Flecha Cantina location, assisting with department and floor Manager responsibilities as needed• Support location leadership with daily operations, stepping in across FOH functions as the team and schedule require• Serve as a brand ambassador on the floor, upholding Flecha’s hospitality standards and guest experience• Build strong working relationships with location managers, GMs, and hourly team members across all sites• Own the full private events sales channel — from prospecting and outreach to proposal, contract, and close• Respond to all event inquiries promptly, qualify leads, and guide clients through the booking process• Develop customized event proposals, contracts, and pricing packages that align with client goals and Flecha’s revenue targets• Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate clients, social hosts, and event planners• Manage end-to-end event execution including staffing, menus, floor layouts, AV, and vendor coordination• Be on-site at events as needed to oversee delivery and represent the Flecha brand• Meet or exceed monthly and annual event revenue targets.

Catering Sales & Operations• Own and grow Flecha Cantina’s catering sales channel across all locations• Develop and maintain catering menus, pricing, and packaging in partnership with culinary and operations leadership• Prospect new catering clients including corporate accounts, offices, and recurring institutional opportunities• Manage catering logistics from order intake through delivery and follow-up• Track catering revenue performance and identify opportunities to grow the program.
Third-Party Delivery Channel Management• Own Flecha Cantina’s presence and performance across all third-party delivery platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub)• Manage menu accuracy, pricing, and promotional campaigns across all platforms and locations• Monitor platform analytics, ratings, and revenue data; report on performance and recommend improvements• Coordinate with location managers to ensure order accuracy, fulfillment quality, and brand consistency• Identify and execute opportunities to grow delivery revenue through promotions, menu optimization, and platform partnerships.
Reporting & Multi-Location Coordination• Track and report on events, catering, and delivery KPIs across all Flecha Cantina locations• Maintain accurate records in CRM and event management tools during dedicated remote admin day• Report regularly to ownership on pipeline, forecasts, and revenue performance• Coordinate cross-location programming, grand events, and new location openings
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in event sales, restaurant operations, or hospitality management
- Proven track record closing event or sales contracts and meeting revenue targets
- Restaurant or hotel operations experience strongly preferred; comfortable working in a location alongside management as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished and persuasive with clients
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple revenue channels and priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with third-party delivery platforms and/or catering operations a strong plus
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and event management tools
- Availability for evenings and weekends as events and location schedule require
- Self-starter with high ownership mentality and the ability to work independently
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds as needed.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
