Special Discount Analyst

About The Job:

• This role is responsible for audit execution, program compliance, risk management, process optimization, and supporting Special Discount programs and internal business initiatives.
• The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify risks, improve operational processes, and support ongoing program development and performance enhancement initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct scheduled audits to ensure employee eligibility and program compliance.
• Identify potential areas of risk and provide recommendations for mitigation and process improvement.
• Process Special Discount applications and Internal Business Line requests accurately and within established timelines.
• Perform special projects and analytical assignments as required.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of Special Discount programs and products.
• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions.
• Support risk management activities related to policies, procedures, and operational controls.
• Provide recommendations to improve and optimize portfolio performance from both risk strategy and risk process perspectives.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent certification in a business-related field is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and objectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Data analysis experience and skills are considered an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including Pivot Tables and Macros.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to implementing new processes and improvements.
• Experience in systems integration testing, evaluation, and implementation.
• Desire to learn and succeed in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Strong working knowledge of V21, SGI, and Maestro systems.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
