LOCATION: Osoyoos, BC
STATUS: FT Regular Hourly

COMPENSATION:$25- $28/hour plus % of team gratuity program, Health Benefits, Company Pension Plan

OPPORTUNITY:

As the Sous Chef at Sweetgrass, you play a crucial role in crafting the dining experience our guests will cherish. From their arrival, you contribute to creating lasting memories by delivering an exceptional experience that complements our award-winning wines.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring culinary staffing levels and stock levels.
• Communicating respectfully with direct and indirect reports.
• Assist in development and execution of seasonal menus and events.
• Understanding of food and wine pairings.
• Understanding and execution of organizational systems to ensure efficiency of day-to-day operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 Years of previous culinary experience
• Red Seal Certification an asset
• Food Safe Certification
• Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal & communications skills
• Ability to multitask and has strong attention to detail
• Open availability for scheduling
