One of our clients is a well-known international company. For this client, we are looking for a well-organized, ambitious, and experiencedSourcing Buyer Lead with Dutch to manage strategic sourcing and procurement activities and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

General Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Sourcing & Procurement, primarily involving strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Category Experience: Strong experience across procurement categories such as MRO and Services. Exposure to Direct Materials would be an advantage.
• Strategic Sourcing: Proven ability to independently plan, lead, and execute complex sourcing projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders within an international and matrix-managed organization.
• Commercial & Analytical Skills: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify sourcing opportunities, develop business cases, and deliver measurable business value.
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in Dutch and English at C1 level, essential for effective client and supplier communication.
   

Technical Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience managing eSourcing projects across multiple categories.
• Strong knowledge of RFx processes and eSourcing platforms, including preparation, execution, and evaluation of sourcing events.
• Experience in sourcing planning, spend analysis, opportunity identification, business case creation, sourcing execution, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approaches.
• Hands-on experience working within an ERP environment.
• Strong understanding of supplier negotiations, commercial terms, contract management, and savings documentation.
• Experience managing the end-to-end procurement process, including tactical procurement and PR-to-PO processes within defined thresholds.
• Ability to manage procurement activities against defined SLAs and KPIs, including savings, payment terms, delivery terms, and other procurement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute sourcing projects with full end-to-end ownership, including spend analysis, sourcing opportunity identification, scope discussion and clarification, sourcing execution, contract management, and reporting.
• Prepare and execute RFx activities, including the use of eSourcing solutions and platforms.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage discussions relating to commercial and contractual terms.
• Document, track, and report savings and other sourcing benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Controlling, and Logistics, depending on individual project requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with globally defined procurement processes, policies, and documentation.
• Deliver against key procurement SLAs and KPIs, including savings, payment terms, delivery terms, and other agreed performance measures.
• Proactively identify and communicate hurdles, delays, supplier issues, and other risks within assigned markets or commodities.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including tactical sourcing and the PR-to-PO process, within defined thresholds.
• Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
