Mid-Level Accountant 

Position Summary 

The Mid-Level Accountant will support day-to-day accounting and monthly bookkeeping across multiple business entities, including a manufacturing operation. The role covers bank and credit card reconciliations, company books and financials, accounts payable and receivable, payment processing, and assigned payroll and sales tax activities. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing workflows and can communicate effectively with customers and vendors about accounting matters.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Manila Time)

Responsibilities 

• Perform monthly bookkeeping and reconcile all bank and credit card accounts for assigned entities. 
• Maintain company books and financial records in Wave and QuickBooks Online (QBO), and support financial review. 
• Verify and enter vendor bills, use Bill.com for assigned activities, and process payments. Contact vendors to clarify billing questions and resolve discrepancies. 
• Upload and verify Amex and Divvy receipts against the related transactions. 
• Reconcile accounts receivable aging and dealer open invoices, follow up on customer payments, and resolve outstanding account balances. 
• Support customer collections, mechanics line-related processes, and zero-balance cleanup. 
• Prepare and process US sales tax reports and filings, with training provided as needed. 
• Run and review payroll and prepare journal entries from payroll reports. 
• Support accounting activities connected to manufacturing workflows, including sales orders, work orders, purchase orders, inventory tracking, and assembly builds. 
• Learn ERPNext and adapt to the accounting workflows associated with the manufacturing entity's transition from NetSuite. 

Qualifications 

• At least 3 years of accounting experience. 
• Manufacturing industry experience, with an understanding of sales orders, work orders, purchase orders, inventory tracking, and assembly builds. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss accounting, billing, and invoice matters with customers and vendors. 
• Solid general accounting knowledge, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. 
• Ability to learn new accounting and ERP systems and adapt to established processes. 

PreferredQualifications:  

• Familiarity with QBO, Wave, Bill.com, NetSuite, ERPNext, Amex, or Divvy is preferred, not required.  
• Prior US sales tax or payroll experience is also preferred, not required.  
• Specific US, UK, or Australian offshore accounting experience is not required.
