A leading university seeks aSorting Specialist to prepare primary source historical documents for digitization.

Sorting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Prepare primary source historical materials for delivery to an outside vendor for scanning as part of a document digitization project.
• Review physical copies of documents and ensure they match the recorded metadata.

Sorting Specialist Qualifications:

• Current college student or recent college graduate in the humanities or social sciences.
• Experience with library research and working with primary documents is preferred.

Shift:

• Part-time, 2 shifts per week: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• The assignment will have a pause during the winter closure, December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
