3 month full-time contract

Someoddpilot is an award-winning, brand-led creative agency in Chicago. We’re looking for an experiencedAccount + Project Manager to join us immediately and help lead the day-to-day management of active client work. This contract is for 40 hrs / week, will run Oct-Dec (Q4), with the option to renew for Q1 2027, and possibility of contract-to-hire.  

The role

You’ll sit at the center of clients and our internal teams – keeping projects moving, communication clear, and everyone aligned on what needs to happen next. This is a client-facing role for someone who can bring structure to the work without adding unnecessary process.

What you’ll do

• Own projects from kickoff through delivery, managing timelines, scope, budgets, and next steps
• Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients
• Run meetings, status calls, and internal check-ins
• Translate client feedback into clear direction for strategy, creative, design, and production teams
• Vet work before it goes out, making sure deliverables are complete, accurate, on brief, and ready for client review
• Keep account leadership informed on project health, timing, and potential issues
• Anticipate roadblocks and raise flags early
• Help ensure the work stays focused, on brief, and moving toward a strong creative outcome

What you bring

• 4+ years of agency experience in project management or account management
• Experience managing consumer brand, campaign, or integrated creative work 
• Strong client communication and relationship skills
• A solid understanding of scopes, budgets, timelines, and creative workflows
• The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the details
• Good judgment, good taste, curiosity, and the confidence to keep both clients and teams moving
