Solutions Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Solution Architect for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant / Lead Solution Architect to assess, modernize, and optimize an internal application ecosystem. This role will be responsible for evaluating the current architecture, business functionality, integration landscape, data flows, and job interfaces. The ideal candidate will combine strategic architectural thinking with hands-on technical delivery capabilities to define a future-state architecture and implement solutions that improve vulnerability management, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the current architecture, business functionality, integration landscape, data flows, and job interfaces to identify inefficiencies
• Define a future-state architecture and design solutions that improve vulnerability management, scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Assess complex legacy systems and develop modernization roadmaps addressing vulnerability remediation
• Lead architecture initiatives from strategy through implementation
• Work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, and development resources

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and solution delivery
• 8+ years of experience designing large-scale enterprise platforms and integrations
• Experience in remediation of application-related vulnerabilities
• Strong experience with batch processing, job scheduling frameworks, and interface design
• Expertise in test data management, environment strategy, and quality engineering practices
• Experience with Java/.NET or equivalent enterprise platforms, MS SQL Server and relational databases
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes, REST/SOA/Microservices architecture, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and application performance tuning
• Experience leading distributed onshore and offshore teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with financial regulatory, compliance, or operational applications
• Experience modernizing legacy platforms and data-intensive applications
• Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and controls frameworks
• Cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• TOGAF, solution architecture, or equivalent architecture certification

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
