Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect end-to-end big data solutions on AWS aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead implementation from design to production, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Ensure data security, compliance, quality, and governance across data pipelines.
• Mentor data engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Troubleshoot and support production data platforms.
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, Glue (Catalog, Crawlers), EMR, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, IAM, SageMaker.
• Experience with Airflow, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark / Hadoop and large-scale data transformations.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Data Architect on AWS.
• Strong understanding of AWS security, encryption, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
