Solution Architect (Infrastructure)

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced aSolution Architect (Infrastructure)to join our Architecture team supporting a large-scale private AI cloud platform.

This role focuses on designing and governing infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, Kubernetes, AI infrastructure, and platform services. The successful candidate will work closely with Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Security, and Project teams to deliver scalable, secure, and operationally ready solutions from design through implementation.

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Design end-to-end infrastructure and platform architectures aligned with business and technical requirements;
• Produce and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture diagrams, and technical documentation;
• Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions;
• Define infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technical design principles;
• Review and validate infrastructure designs, implementation plans, and technical deliverables;
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure solutions are operationally ready;
• Support infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and technology selection;
• Ensure solutions align with security, resilience, and operational requirements;
• Participate in architecture governance, technical design reviews, and change advisory activities;
• Support technical workshops, proof of concepts, and continuous platform improvements;

• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering;
• 3+ years in a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Technical Lead role;
• Experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure and private cloud platforms;
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies;
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity;
• Experience working across multidisciplinary technical teams;
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Storage fundamentals (Ceph experience is desirable)

• MAAS and Juju

• Azure DevOps or equivalent
• Prometheus and Grafana
• Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Loki
• Keycloak, Vault, PAM, and SIEM solutions
• NVIDIA GPU infrastructure
• AI platform architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI or GPU infrastructure platforms.
• • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and infrastructure governance.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 or ISO 22301.
  • Experience working in regulated or highly available environments.

• • TOGAF Foundation or Practitioner
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent
  • Linux certification (RHCSA, LFCS, or equivalent)
  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate
  • Cloud architecture certification (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI)
