Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15 years in IT/Data, including 5 years in enterprise data architecture, cloud analytics, and distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Azure data services, ADLS Gen2, cloud storage, networking, and security/IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, including multi-cluster warehouses, data sharing, Snowpipe, and performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and dbt, including Snowflake/dbt integration.
• Experience with CI/CD practices using Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions for data pipeline deployment and management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Additional certifications related to cloud platforms and data engineering.
• Experience with other cloud platforms and data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures on Azure.
• Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Design and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including ingestion, data sharing, and performance optimization.
• Implement secure cloud data platforms using Azure storage, networking, and IAM controls.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Establish CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows and deployments.
