MUST:
SW Tester (MUMPS)
10+years of professional experience software testing, quality assurance, or systems validations
Experience testing enterprise applications supporting clinical, benefits, or healthcare operations.
Experience supporting legacy applications and long-lived mission-critical systems
Strong experience developing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases
Experience validating healthcare business workflows and system functionality
Experience supporting healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments
Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS/InterSystems Cache’ is highly desired
Fluent understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including: HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA EDI Transactions
Experience utilizing defect tracking and test management tools such as: Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM and TestRail
Experience supporting VistA and FileMan applications is a plus
Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare operational workflows are desired
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong documentation skills
High attention to details
Strong problem-solving skills and highly analytical
ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or similar testing certification are preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in related Discipline

DUTIES:
Ideal candidate is supporting a DoW client providing regular quality assurance and system validation testing of healthcare IT systems to ensure high level functionality for clients and customers nationwide
Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defect corrections, and system upgrades
Support functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, system, and end-to-end testing activities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures for healthcare applications operating in MUMPS/InterSystems Caché environments
Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare applications, databases, interfaces, and external systems
Test healthcare interoperability transactions utilizing HL7, FHIR, EDI, and related industry standards
Participate in Beta/IOC testing with healthcare facilities and end users, documenting results and coordinating issue resolution
Analyze and troubleshoot software defects, integration failures, and production incidents
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and end users to validate requirements and test objectives
Develop test data and test environments supporting healthcare workflows and business processes
Execute manual and automated testing activities where applicable
Track, document, and communicate testing metrics, defects, risks, and status reports
Validate integrations involving VistA, FileMan, healthcare messaging platforms, and external partner systems
Support root cause analysis and verification of software fixes
Review system requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability and complete coverage
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, procedures, and quality standards
Provide technical leadership and guidance on testing strategies for healthcare and government system
