Job Summary

Develops and executes comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and reliability. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system defects efficiently.

Responsible for testing IoT cloud platform services with a focus on API, integration and automation testing. The role involves validating device-to-cloud workflows and ensuring system reliability in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

​Perform API and backend testing
Execute end-to-end integration testing (device → cloud → application)
Develop and maintain automation scripts
Validate IoT messaging flows
Log and track defects; work with dev teams for resolution
Support regression and release testing

Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, providing foundational knowledge in software development and testing principles.
• 3-5 years experience in software testing, including designing and executing automated and manual test cases, defect tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Experience in API testing (Postman or similar)
• Basic knowledge of test automation (Python/Java/JS)
• Understanding of integration testing / distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git
• Professional certification in software testing such as ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent, demonstrating proficiency in testing methodologies and industry best practices.

• Good to Have - Exposure to IoT concepts , Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Basic performance testing knowledge
